Reconciliation

reconciliation (Confession)

The Sacrament of Reconciliation offers the opportunity for a Catholic person to receive forgiveness for sins they have committed.

God's forgiveness has been offered through Jesus Christ and extended to His Church by priests asking the forgiveness of God upon a Catholic person. Jesus Christ began this Sacrament of Healing for all sinful members of his Church.

Holy Family Cathedral readily offers this sacrament each day prior to Masses as well as extended Confession times on Saturdays. For the full schedule of Confession times visit the Mass & Confession Schedule.

If it has been a while (multiple years) since your last Confession, know you are always welcome back to participate in this sacrament! We recommend making an appointment with one of our priests to meet outside of the regularly offered Confession times. This can be done by emailing Fr. Joshua or Fr. Kastl.

First Reconciliation for Children
