April 5 Parish Work Day offers meaningful service to parishioners

Parishioners indicated a desire for greater ownership and involvement in their parish. It was one of the opportunities identified in 2023 when the Parish Priority Plan was developed.

The parish work day is a six year tradition that began with some larger projects: urn room renovation, removing two sheds, and trimming trees.

This year’s parish work day will include smaller projects: deep cleaning in the church, scraping gum off the bottoms of pews, cleaning the maple wood in the Heiring Auditorium, removing the pergolas from the parking lot, and cleaning out a large storeroom known as “the dungeon.”

No RSVP Needed

Come to the 8:00 a.m. Mass on Saturday, April 5. The work day will be done by noon.

You’ll be assigned to a team based on your interests and skills.

Yes! One of the teams will be assembling the candles for the Easter Vigil. It sounds like a good fit.
